SEP 21 2021: FINALLY!
Almost a decade ago, I started a lil hiphop novel called Nothing Crown just after the release of my first book, Long Lost Dog Of It. But a combination of Veterans transcriptions, sophomore slump, working too much, the fear, and the many obligations of running King Shot Press derailed that whole process. It took a long time to recover, to regain my confidence as a writer. Anyway, the story changed over that time. Because I was changing. And what exists now is my first new work in four years, and my first novel in seven years. I am Young Stepdad. This is my mixtape.
